Freedom of Association

POLICY:

  • Liberty Mills Limited recognizes and respects the rights of employees to exercise their lawful rights of free association and collective bargaining through joint work council and other committee.
  • Liberty Mills Limited does not discriminate against employees who form or participate in lawful associations and/or collective bargaining through work council and other committee. Forms of discrimination include, but are not limited to: 1. Wage penalties 2. Suspension 3. Termination
  • Liberty Mills Limited does not illegally discriminate against employees who choose not to join any association or bargain collectively or Joint work council & other committee.
  • Liberty Mills Limited does not take any employment fees or costs are borne in whole or in part by workers.
  • Liberty Mills Limited does not discriminate against applicants who have previously exercised their lawful rights of free association and/or collective bargaining or Joint work council & other committee.
  • Liberty Mills Limited does not prohibit or impede individual union's affiliation with larger regional, national or international union or federation, protecting lawful rights without spoiling sovereignty of the state.
